The German manager revealed that all three players will miss the upcoming match at Anfield due to injury concerns. While Thiago sustained a muscle injury during his return as a substitute in the previous weekend's defeat against Arsenal after a lengthy lay-off.

While speaking on Salah's condition, Klopp told reporters: "Right direction. We hope, but we donât know, we hope that he can be part of parts of training next week. But we have to see, he is going through all the phases now and itâs positive. Itâs either next week or the week after.â
The coach insisted that Thiago's injury is not "big" but grave enough to sideline him for a considerable period, adding: "Thiago, obviously, is not cool. Everything looked absolutely fantastic in training. We showed quite a lot of things, I think, on LFCTV so you can see the training moments and it looks outstanding so you think: âCome on, take him, we have the opportunity, let him play a few minutesâ and thenâŚItâs a muscle issue, we donât know the extent yet. We have to wait there a little bit, but itâs not cool, of course. It was really not good news for him, for us, for everybody. On top of losing the game already and having that is not good.
âYes [I expect him to play again this season], but we didnât really think about that, in the moment we just treat the injury and get a full assessment done and knowing exactly where it came from. Itâs not the intensity and stuff like this, so there are different things.
âItâs just the normal procedure and it would not be a big story if he wouldnât have been out for that long a time. Thatâs how it is. Itâs not a big, big injury, definitely not, but itâs obviously something nobody needed.â
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Szoboszlai, the Hungary captain, missed Liverpool's recent match against Arsenal and will also be absent for the upcoming Premier League fixture against Burnley due to a recurrence of a muscle injury. Given the repeat occurrence of the injury, there is no clear timeline for Szoboszlai's return to action.
Klopp revealed that he is unsure whether Szoboszlai will be fit to face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final on February 25 and added: "Dom is running outside in the moment, in the winter rain, and is not ready for tomorrow, of course not. Then we have to see. Itâs like it always is with these tendon things; pretty quickly the player is pain-free and then itâs all about⌠itâs muscle [and] itâs pretty much the same that he had before.
âThatâs obviously really not good that he got that again. He didnât feel a great issue but when you see then the pictures you just have to take him out and now we are fighting for days, if you want. Is it Brentford, is it the [Carabao Cup] final or is it after the final? I donât know at the moment.â
MORE ABSENTEES AGAINST BURNLEY
Klopp confirmed that Conor Bradley will be unavailable due to the passing of his father, while Ibrahima Konate is suspended. However, Wataru Endo is set to be available after Japan's exit from the AFC Asian Cup.
